PUSH International is a language services provider with a head office in Berkshire and a satellite office in London. We are looking for a junior to mid-level German/English speaking Translation Project Manager to join our Berkshire production office.
We have a diverse portfolio of corporate, retail, consumer and SME clients and our ethos is based around the provision of highly customer focused and service-led language solutions.
We are urgently seeking a one or more translation project managers to act as a client interface providing comprehensive and responsive customer support and delivering a solutions-led language service to our clients in the UK, the US and Germany. The role will require the candidate to coordinate all stages of translation, interpreting and multilingual artwork projects with external vendors, monitor workflow, ensure the highest level of performance in terms of efficiency, quality, customer satisfaction and profitability.
In addition to client and vendor communication, internal liaison within the project management team is crucial as is dialogue with sales, admin, finance and the Directors – you will be a confident and clear communicator at all levels.
You must be an excellent communicator (written and verbal) in English and German. Other European languages will be a distinct advantage but you must possess both English and German as a pre-requisite. The candidate must quickly be able to manage their day to day activities with guidance from the Head of Project Management.
You will already be resident in the UK or be in a position to relocate at short notice. You must have permission to work in the UK and to be a resident in the UK.
Attention to detail is paramount as is the ability to multi-task as you will have a number of projects on the go at any one time. You won’t fluster easily and you must be flexible in terms of your attitude to working hours. Although core office hours are observed, you may need to maintain client/vendor communications outside of core hours due to time zone differences.
This position would suit someone already working in a junior/mid level project manager position within the commercial translation industry or similar quality-focused service industry. The role is not suitable for a freelance translator as no translation is carried out in-house.
