ENGLISH/DUTCH/GERMAN-SPEAKING BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT EXECUTIVES – INITIAL 6 MONTH CONTRACT (TEMP TO PERM)

Fluent English & German and/or Dutch Business Development Executives

Candidate profile

The successful candidates will have proven sales development skills with experience of selling – ideally – translation services, or at the very least a complex value-added professional solution, into decision-maker or influencer level. This is a full time role for which candidates must have experience of phone-based inside sales. A demonstrable track record to generate sales in a competitive environment from commercial organizations is a pre-requisite as is clear thinking and an intuitive grasp of cross- and up-selling and the ability to identify, pursue and convert a prospect.

Mandatory fluency in English plus a 2nd language of German/Dutch would be ideal. Computer literacy in all standard Microsoft programmes plus contact management software such as SalesForce will be required. The successful candidates will be tasked with driving the full efficiency of this tool.

Confidence and charisma are desired personality traits, as positively presenting the business over the telephone to prospective customers will be a key aspect of the remit. High levels of energy together with tenacity and a desire to succeed will be needed to do justice to the position.

The Business Development Executive roles will involve the full cycle of sales activities and the candidate must be willing to research leads with a view to developing their own pipelines.

Tasks:- 

To drive the business acquisitions programme so that it can reach its full potential in the chosen market sector/s

To intelligently research vertical markets, develop and deliver proposals and close sales

To achieve sales targets in line with the annual budget

To carry out face to face and group presentations if required

To quickly gain an understanding of the benefits of document translation, website translation, transcreation and enterprise/consultancy-based language provision benefits and to communicate these effectively and compellingly

To maintain, segment and develop the client database

To take an active part in all internal and external sales communication

To interface with marketing staff and recommend/agree best practice for communications programmes

To ensure that the current structure for customer care is maintained and enhanced

To provide detailed reporting to the management team on sales progress and make recommendations on sales best practice.

Rewards

A salary together with a commission structure designed to incentivise, is available. The roles are offered on an initial 6-month contract.
