International News: Debt recovery company expands to Dubai

A UK-based asset recovery company has expanded its overseas network by opening an office in Dubai.

The office is the fourth overseas branch to be opened by Winterhill Largo, following earlier launches in Brunei, Indonesia and Malaysia.

Run by Peter Lazarus, it will focus on collecting debt in Dubai on behalf of local and UK creditors.

It will also seek to recover funds from UK creditors who have left the UAE owing money to organisations in the region.

The company operates five UK offices and employs 60 staff.

A spokesperson said: “Initially we are anticipating a focus on Winterhill Largo’s specialist debt recovery services from the Dubai office.

“However, over time we will be bringing our entire portfolio of valuation and disposal services into the region.”
