A recent report by serviced-office provider Regus, shows that Reading-based businesses are far more likely to be considering international expansion than businesses in other parts of the country.
And whilst the article is naturally enough geared to promoting the services offered by Regus, it is also great news for local language services providers such as PUSH as translation and reversioning of communications materials is a core element of international expansion.
The report is quoted as saying “Although 29 per cent of Reading-based companies are already planning to export, there are still many firms, particularly smaller ones, that could be taking advantage of international trade, especially in emerging markets. Indeed, the UK risks falling behind its global competitors if companies aren’t encouraged to explore every avenue open to them.”
Make 2012 a success story for your business by including international expansion within your business strategy; but make sure all your material is ready for entry into a new market by having it professionally localized and translated.
